Casinos won’t be the only thing booming in Nevada anymore.
This comes at a booming time, with the federal stimulus program ramp up, which is expected to deliver Broadband Internet to under-served areas of the United States.
By upgrading its network, Integra will enhance its network reliability and products to reach the needs of its Reno, Nevada and metropolitan areas of Reno, Sparks and Carson City, customer base.
Customers in the Integra network in Reno will now benefit from two telecom services: Broadband Internet and Novus T-1, an integrated T-1 service, also known as “NovusT1.”
Josh Conklin, senior vice president of Integra Telecom of Nevada, said that making a substantial investment in the local telecom infrastructure will broaden, not only the company’s portfolio, but the needs and satisfaction of the Reno industry, business and customers.
“Our Broadband Internet and Novus T-1 services allow us to deliver higher levels of bandwidth to our customers, while providing the same industry-leading customer service they`ve come to expect," Conklin said.
Josh Conklin, senior vice president of Integra Telecom of Nevada, said that making a substantial investment in the local telecom infrastructure will broaden, not only the company’s portfolio, but the needs and satisfaction of the Reno industry, business and customers.

The company’s Novus T-1 service combines local voice, long distance and Internet access on a single circuit, with a strong voice and data product set that allows for faster data transport.
By increasing bandwidth for Integra’s customers, NovusT1 service leverages the benefits of VoIP with a reliable network, perfect for Reno’s high traffic area.
In 2007, Integra acquired Eschelon (News - Alert) Telecom, which created Integra's Reno area telecom service customer base, offering business phone lines, Broadband Internet and private network systems.
By offering its services to SMBs, Integra is focusing on a demographic that is becoming increasingly pertinent in the telecom industry.
The company’s Internet access and services combines bandwidth potential of Integra’s metropolitan network infrastructure with two phone-grade copper lines to deliver download speeds of 5, 15 and 25 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 2 Mbps.
However, since Integra’s one of the business-only networks in the western United States, the company can cater and provide maximum bandwidth to businesses of all sizes, making its systems available and user friendly no matter how big or small.
