By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributor

ERF Wireless, a provider of enterprise-class wireless and broadband products and services, has reportedly signed a master services agreement with Conway, Ark- based The Computer Works.

The Computer Works is a wireless broadband service provider in the five-county area surrounding North Central Arkansas, including the Fayetteville Shale. The agreement provisions the delivery of broadband services to mobile and static oil and gas sites in North Central Arkansas.

ERF has been looking to expand their coverage in active oil and gas territories with quality wireless network providers. This is the third in a series of agreements, according to Dr. H. Dean Cubley, CEO of ERF Wireless (News - Alert).

The strategic plan primarily involves supporting their growing base of oil and gas customers through the expansion of ERF’s wireless broadband networks by acquisition or master service agreements, Cubley said.

Pat Wilson, president of The Computer Works, said the long history of their company during which they established themselves in the market. Many customers depend on their enterprise-class wireless broadband network currently.

The network serves more than 5,000 customers through 42 towers that provide more than 3,000 square miles of wireless broadband coverage over a five-county area which includes the Fayetteville Shale in the greater North Central Arkansas area.

“We’re looking forward to helping ERF Wireless deliver high-speed wireless broadband services to their oil and gas customers,” Wilson said.

ERF Wireless specializes in providing wireless and broadband product and service solutions to enterprise, commercial and residential clients on a regional, national and international basis.

The company was in news last month for signing a master services agreement with Partnership Broadband. Both companies are collaborating to deliver broadband services to mobile and static oil and gas sites throughout the active Barnett Shale natural gas bearing formation in north central Texas.
