Belgian-based Citymesh Expands Customer Base 1000 Percent with ANTlabs Networking Solutions
Citymesh win signals ANTlabs (News - Alert)� successful foray to broaden customer base in Europe
SINGAPORE 23 September, 2008 - Singaporean network and security solutions provider, Advanced Network Technology Laboratories (ANTlabs) today announced that Belgian-based Citymesh had selected SSG3 (Service Selection Gateway (News - Alert) 3) to increase its base of wireless Internet access customers from 1,000 customers to 10,000 customers. Citymesh has also deployed ANTlabs EVIC (Ethernet Virtual Interface Concentrator) and EVI (Ethernet Virtual Interface) hardware appliances. Europe is a key new market for ANTlabs expansion outside of Asia-Pacific, and the Citymesh deal bodes well for the acquisition of more customers in the EMEA region.
SSG3 along with EVIC and EVI from ANTlabs will be incorporated in the deployment of Wi-Fi mesh technology that will extend Citymesh�s reach in Belgium to provide needed services at previously inaccessible areas like the coastal region, campsites, promenades, and tourist destinations. ANTlab�s solutions will replace Citymesh�s previous deployment of Nomadix. ANTlab�s powerful solution enables Citymesh to overcome the existing limitations and scale significantly to reach a broader customer base and grow, thereby achieving better price-performance and reliability for the Citymesh wireless network.

Citymesh�s paid Internet access services starts at four (4) Euros for thirty minutes and scales to 195 Euros for a period of six months. With the current deployment, Citymesh hopes to increase its revenues to 150,000� in the first year and to 200,000� in two years. The ANTlabs solution helps Citymesh to create flexible Internet packages for different customer groups, where they pay for what they use. The package requires no extra hardware and works with every Wi-Fi compatible device, which is convenient for Citymesh customers
