Urgent: Honduran interim gov't demands trial on Zelaya
SAN JOSE, Jul 19, 2009 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
Deposed Honduran President Manuel
Zelaya will face penal trial for violation of Constitution rather
than being reinstated in office when he returns home, the interim
government said on Sunday in a statement as the second round of
mediation talks goes on here.
Delegations from both camps are here to discuss the seven
proposals suggested on Saturday by the designated mediator on
Honduran crisis, Costa Rican President Oscar Arias.
