Alert) Certified Equipment testing, Huawei conducted interoperability tests with the WiMAX ecosystem vendors in this event.

Alert) WiMAX product line noted in a statement that PlugFest is an important opportunity, before the formal certification test of Wave2 products, for Huawei to collaborate with other vendors towards achieving WiMAX industry interoperability.
“Holding an open policy, Huawei is dedicated to building a healthy WiMAX ecosystem for the benefit and development of the telecom industry,” he added.
During the Mobile PlugFest, 28 member companies participated in interoperability testing for the development of the WiMAX industry. These companies included terminal vendors, infrastructure vendors, as well as service and chipset providers.
According to company sources, they are dedicated to achieving WiMAX product compatibility through considerable R&D investment, in-house testing with multiple vendors and actively participating in the WiMAX Forum’s PlugFest events.
The company has also recently received the 2008 InfoVision Award for their IPTime – IP Transport Infrastructure for Mobile Evolution – and 40G transmission solution. The 2008 InfoVision Award was presented at the Broadband World Forum Asia 2008. Huawei has received the InfoVision Awards, from the International Engineering Consortium, for the past four consecutive years in recognition of the superior performance and technical excellence of its products and solutions.
