Worldmax, a WiMAX operator in the Netherlands, is using Ceragon Networks’ (

Alert) FibeAir IP solutions in one of Europe's first commercial WiMAX networks. Ceragon announced that they are powering Worldmax’s network with up to 400Mbps of traffic aggregation capacity, which enables smooth transmission of fast Internet and a wide range of multimedia services.
Worldmax currently offers high-end data services throughout the city of Amsterdam and intends to eventually expand its independent wireless network and provide nationwide coverage.
A Worldmax company official claimed that Ceragon's wireless Ethernet solutions offer the highest over-the-air capacities and ensure constant delivery of high-bandwidth services, even during peak times. Ceragon has enabled Worldmax to set up their backhaul network in record time.
