LigTel Communications, an Indiana-based telecommunications company offering next-generation data services, reportedly purchased Airspan's advanced technology WiMAX equipment through systems integrator Stutler Technologies Corp. Operating in the 700 MHz and 3.65 GHz frequency bands, LigTel's network serves residents and businesses of several counties, including Noble, LaGrange, Elkhart, Kosciusko and Whitley.

The value of the first purchase order to Tranzeo is US$4.5M bringing the current backlog of all purchase orders to $21.6 million.

Wireless certification and testing laboratory AT4 wireless has announced that it has completed Clearwire WiMAX iIOT (interim Inter-Operability Testing) of the ComMAX CM1125 handset reference platform at AT4 wireless WiMAX labs in Herndon, Virginia.
